MEMBERSHIP - ELIGIBILITY AND FEE'S
There are three levels of
Membership of the Association:
(i) ASSOCIATE MEMBER (no entitlement to
designatory letters).
Open to any person who can show an interest in body
piercing, and although not necessarily in practice, has agreed to the Code of
Ethics set out by the Association in Appendix I. Associate membership is also
open to Body Piercers who have been practicing for less than a year.
(ii) MEMBER (Designatory letters: M.B.P.A.A
Open to any person who has attained a satisfactory level of
written and practical training in Body Piercing and Infection Control set out
by Eze Training Body Piercing Course. In order to become a Member of the Body Piercing
Association Australia, the individual must be established in, and have been
practicing Body Piercing for a minimum of one year. The Association reserves
the right to deny any person Membership or Associate Membership, and their
decision shall be final and binding.
(iii) PROFESSIONAL MEMBER (Designatory Letters: P.B.B.P.A.)
Reserved for any Member (in accordance with the provisions
of clause 2. above) who satisfies BPAA that his/her contributions to the use of
Body Piercing, or to the furthermost of the aims of the Association, are such
that his/her services should be so recognized.
NOTE: Throughout the ensuing
sections of this document, and throughout its Appen-dices, the following
interpretations shall apply:-
The terms ASSOCIATE or
ASSOCIATE MEMBER, MEMBER and PROFESSIONAL MEMBER shall be taken as having the
meanings ascribed to them in Clauses (i), (ii) and (iii) above, respectively.
The term MEMBERSHIP, except
where otherwise defined, shall be taken to include all categories, Associate,
Member and Professional members.
MEMBERSHIP PRIVILEGES
Membership of the Association
shall confer the following benefits:-
(i) Members and Professional Members of
the Association shall be entitled to use the appropriate designatory letters
(or wording) of accreditation after their names in any or all official
correspondence or professional and promotional material, subject to the
limitations set out elsewhere in this document and Appendices.
(ii) Will be listed on our website
(ii) Receive a Certificate and a sticker of
BPAA for their Studio
Membership of the Association is currently
only open to those who have successfully passed the course at Eze Training.

PROFESSIONAL - $140.00.- 12 Months
